Woody Platt, founding member of the Steep Canyon Rangers and a long-time leader in North Carolina’s music and conservation communities, was honored with the 2025 North Carolina Award for Fine Arts at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville. The ceremony featured a tribute video and highlighted his decades of artistic impact and environmental stewardship.
